Michael K. Murphy (Mr. Murf) is a lover of science, technology, nature, and space. He believes in the value of a strong public education system, and has decided to make his career there. Mr. Murf is currently a science teacher at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury, CT, where he has taught freshman physical science and all levels of Physics. Mr. Murf also helped to found Team Beta, a group of high school students who promote science and technology to their community, and participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and the CT Electrathon Challenge.
